This Friday Night Lights program features a presentation and Q & A with Chicago Bears Wide Receiver Devin Aromashodu. There will be raffle prizes including items autographed by Devin and a group picture with Devin. Open to all athletes ages 8 and up.

Here is the perfect reason to clean out your closets: money! Pleasant Dale is excited to host its first annual spring cleaning garage sale for kids. To sell: Register by March 27 at the Rec Center to secure your space and 6' table. Vendors may begin to set up at 8 AM and are required to have all merchandise cleared no later than 1 PM. Help us celebrate National Kite Flying month and the beginning of spring! You may bring your own kite or purchase a kite craft kit on site. Fly on your own or take part in our kite flying contest. Categories include biggest kite, smallest kite, highest flying kite, and most unusual kite. Pre-registration by 4/16 is necessary for competing kite flyers.

Family Fishing Derby

All you need is a stick and some string to catch fish at this derby. We provide the bait and a well stocked lake to create a lasting memory to all those who participate. Prizes are awarded to the smallest fish, largest fish, and most caught in the allotted time. All participants do receive a goody bag for participating. Registration deadline: Friday, June 4th.
